This collection of remarkable images of America's Space Program
includes photographs from all unmanned and manned missions of
the 1960s through the last Apollo mission in 1972. Photography
was an instrumental tool to map the moon for an eventual moon
landing. NASA's goal of landing a man on the lunar surface was
fulfilled in July, 1969 with the Apollo 11 moon landing and Neil
Armstrong's famous first steps. These photographs represent an
historical, artistic, and cultural milestone of the 20th century.
