APOLLO 14 LANDMARKS, CREW TRAINING (marked "crew copy 2"):

31 vintage chromogenic prints and 41 gelatin silver prints, each with hand-penned or cartographic names, arrows, markings and/or labels, inserted in 3-hole punched sleeves. Also includes one 4-part folding offset lunar map panorama with hand-drawn overlay plots (approx 30 x 11 3/4 inches) and one 3-part folding offset lunar map panorama with overlay as described above. These photographs were taken on prior Apollo missions and are designed to track landmarks to be encountered by the Apollo 14 crew over the lunar surface. 3-hole punched, unbound. Very few of these hand-made books were produced (probably less than five) and were used by the crews to prepare for their eventual lunar landing.

Apollo 14 launched on January 31, 1971 and was recovered on February 9, 1971. It was the 3rd lunar landing mission. The Astronauts were Alan Shepard, Commander; Stuart Roosa, Command Module Pilot; and Edgar Mitchell, Lunar Module Pilot.
