"As before, the phone rings about work and business. But the calls now are mostly for Sasha, Ira and little Katya She also loves art, and paints watercolours of still lifes and the roofs of houses. I should like it to be like this after us. I should like to see an art studio here, a workshop of life and history...I would like to have a steady stream of people cominghere. People who are carried away by art, students, young people and people who see, for the first time, the history of our art from the first years of the Revolution."
